Welcome!
I stumbled into behavior analysis rather by accident. While delving into Self-Determination Theory during my undergraduate studies, I found its principles to be deeply resonant with my personal values and beliefs. I then had an unexpected opportunity in a residential program that used Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I had reservations about ABA given my preconceived notions of behaviorism. However, to my surprise, exploring behavior analysis not only broadened my understanding of human behavior but also revealed its potential to enact meaningful and enduring changes in children and their families.
Over the past five years, my professional journey has been centered around providing home-based ABA therapy. I have worked in a variety of settings providing behavior analytic services as a direct care provider and as a BCBA supervisor. I’ve learned to understand the nuanced support families require and the areas where our existing systems fall short. I have also come to realize that effective behavioral interventions extend beyond a one-size-fits-all approach. By integrating considerations such as sensory sensitivities, learning histories, trauma, and emotional well-being, interventions can yield far superior outcomes, fostering lasting positive impacts on individuals' lives.

The scientific approach to behavior is a critical tool for providing quality and effective support for clients and caregivers. As a behavior analyst, I can help you through behavioral challenges, difficult routines, support emotion regulation, facilitate communication, develop social skills, navigate social challenges, etc. My therapeutic goal is to help you understand your options as well as the potential implications of various approaches.
With extensive experience working within the insurance model, I offer a seasoned perspective on their operational dynamics and the systemic obstacles you may confront. My aim is to collaboratively navigate towards optimal support systems for your child, all while addressing the everyday challenges of parenthood.
